Hi!

A friend of mine got a mpc1000 an has FruityLoops (an Reason) installed on his PC. He got a MIDI-Cable too.

We connected the MPC to the PC via MIDI-Cable (MPC is Master an sending the MIDI data on MIDI B). Fruity Loops is receiving the Midi an the sample is playing.

1.) Is it possible to control more than one FruityLoops Channel at the same time?? We just can control 1 Channel!!

2.) Can we change the SCALE on the mpc?
pad1 : c#1
pad2 : c1
pad3: F#1
pad4: A#4
and so on...

as you see the note on the pads are NOT "synchron" with the scale "C1 D1 E1 1F G1 H1 C2" and so on...

Best regards!

1.) yes, using a layer channel. A friend of mine got the same problem, so i built a file doin this for 16 pads, get it here: http://www.flyupload.com/?fid=6568149

The FPC plugin is designed to do the same thing, but i think its more convenient to have real channels instead of the fpc "pads".

2.) Yes, should be in the manual. Check out JJ OS, it has an autochromatic feature, assigning notes to pads in adjacent semitones.

hey good looking out on this one rinseout. that has always been my only complaint with fl. that i cant use more than one channel of the mpc at the same time. im going to try this when i get home and see if its the answer to my dreams

i been using fl for about 2+ years now and have read about setting up a layer channel this way, but havent put in the time to figure it out.

thanks again for posting!

is it possible that all samples "CUT IT SELF" on the different channels??
is it right to mark the MPC channel to play all 16pads with the mpc?

No, you have to set the childrens“cut settings.

I just noticed sth not working as intended on my flp file, if you drag a sample on one of the channels the root key gets resetted, so the sample will play pitched. You have to set the root note to the channels selected keyzone after dropping the sample.
