Layering..Layer Layer Layer. If your sound is weak, layer them. Also try using equing and compression. Check this article out:

Listen to the how the bass, kicks, snares etc sound on your system. Now mix your tracks. Be sure to listen to your reference cd before and after you mix your own tracks.
**You will never get the exact sound for the professional recording artists unless you have your tracks professionally mixed and mastered**, but can get it to sound really good on most systems. Just thought I'd mention that.
