Card reformat- help!

hey all-
my memory card for some reason lock up my mpc whenever i put it in...im guessing that i did something to it while plugging it into a card reader to my mac that the mpc doesent like. what can I do to reformat the card WITHOUT the mpc? suggestions?

Format it on a pc. Make sure its formatted FAT32. Use a windows pc if possible.

can i do that by throwing the card into a usb card reader and plugging it in? Or will I need to download something on the PC? Sorry I'm a mac person...

Yes, a windows pc would would recognize the card. Do you have any friends or family that use pc that could help you?
