you just take the outs of the MPC and plug them into the IN's of the 1600. Midi them up if you like, Change the outs of your MPC from ST to whatever out you want, and then assign the outs from the 1600 to a fader. You can find the specifics in the manual

I suspect you can sync them up and use both, the MPC for the beats & samples, the BOSS for the audio recording. It looks like the Boss has only a MIDI OUT port, so it will have to be the master clock device, the MPC would be the slave. But I can't be sure, it depends on whether the Boss sends out MIDI Clock and (ideally) Song Position Pointer, and you need the manual to see if those facilities are there.
