why does it say insufficient memory when i try to chopsample

whats good ppl i just got a lil prob every time i try to chop my sample i get insufficient memory i dont understand that cuz u just bought a new memory card i formatted it but it still says dat could one of ya help me out good looks 1[/b]

first off when you load samples onto the mpc it doesn't play them off the memory card, it plays them off the internal ram. I am assuming that you have the stock memory (16 mb) so the sample you are trying to chop is to big or you are trying to chop it into to to many pieces for your memory to handle. You either have to get the 128 mb ram upgrade or deal with it.

need more ram thats happens to me sumtimes den i just end up chopping smaller pieces
