mpc 1000 and pro tools

i wanna sync my mpc 1000 and triton extreme to pro tools but i need a few questions answered before i spend the money to buy pro tools. 1.what do i connect to the mbox2, and how do i do it 2.when i sync these items to pro tools protools quantizes and everything? 3.and do i make different sequnces and put them together to make a song?. 4.plus have all the instruments on differnt tracks so i can mix them in protools? 5.and last can i save a whole mixed down beat as .wav file to be transferred on a usb stick to another computer. 6. and can i transfer wav. files mad on a mac to a windows computer?

1. connect to what? computer
2. you can quantize in pt but what you recorded is going to sound the same in pt. get all your quantizing done before pt.
3. your call, some folk make different seq some only work with only one.
4. yes put each instrument on different track! easier to mix and arrange.
