I was gonna keep my 500 but....

I found an MPC1000 at Guitar center for 600 bucks barely used. I finally talked the dude down to 500 since I was also buying an SP404 for my mobile needs.

I'm stoked about this.... I love the 500. But getting the 1k for two-hundred less is a no-brainer.

And the Sp404? Nice and simple, great finish. Perfect sampling toy with the ability to be a nice beat scratch-pad.


The way I see it the 404 is a good compliment to the 1000. Being able to tweak samples with the crazy effects will be nice. Plus the workflow is so insanely simple, it's perfect for mobile use where you don't want to have to concentrate so hard on what you are doing.
