is my mpc broken?

I have had it for about 2 years now, and it has never gave me any problems but recently whenever i'm working on a beat the screen just goes completly blank and everything crashes, my sequences are still saved on my flashcard, but whatever i'm working on gets deleted and my mpc freezes I have no idea why, could it be from overuse? I tend to use it for hours on end at times, but i'm not quite sure........

yes your mpc is broken (well you did ask)...does the screen show anything before it crashes? does the power cut off ? any more specific info on the crashes would be helpful

the screen doesnt show anything before it crashes it just goes completely blank green.... every once and a while it says cpu error with a bunch of numbers on it, I usually turn it off give it some time and restart it and I'm able to get in maybe 30 40 minutes of work in before it does it again

have you tried the jj'os ? you could try the freebie one and see if it helps any
