Hei everyone,

I've just sample a really cool sample that I've sliced into 9 parts. I don't understand why but 2 of the parts have violon sounds which have disapeared (the rest of sounds in these parts are hear). I've switched off the MPC and tried another time but this specific part won't let me hear the violons after it's been converted. However, when I'm cutting it in the trim mode, all sounds are there.

To resume:

1) Trim mode: I cut 9 parts where all sounds are there
2) Convert them: 2 of the small parts are now missing some sounds

Anything that I might have triggered by inadvertance?
Any idea?

Thank you for your time and help.

depending on what OS your using...

i think the older akai OS used to convert slices from stereo to mono
automatically. so possibly the violin was only (or predominantly) on one
channel and not the other. so when you chopped it, you lost a channel,
and thus, that part of the sample is gone.

try updating your OS - scope JJ dude well worth it.

or you could just cut the sample up using the EXTRACT option in the main
TRIM screen instead of the slice page.
