I take it you mean the auto loaded stuff when you first turn it on.

yet another douche typing a 100 word response eluding to how knowledgable he is and what a moron i am....when the answer to my question would take half the time.

I got the stuff to not auto load and i know how to erase the internal stuff 1 sample at a time...i wanted to know if there was an internal memory format function...i heard about replacing it all with one tiny blank sample but that is confusing to me....

does anyone have a legitimate response to my query and not another diatribe on how someone wants to compensate for their lack of attention from girls by belittling my 72 hr knowledge of the mpc....go make music and quit hassling noobs who come to this forum to gain info to no longer be noobs...isn't that what you want?...everyone to be as smart/cool as you?

you can delete the internal memory only by overwriting it in one pass...
its up to you if you use one blank sample or 5mb of your favourite drums...
having the internal memory empty is not starting your machine faster nor does it give you more free sample memory to work with.
