SAmple Rate?

I have never used a 1000 but is there any way to change the sample rate to 12 bit on different sounds like say if I have a snare I want to sound 12 or 8 bit how would I go about doin that?

what about without the jj os cause I know alot of u guys like the jj os but i mean I like aki's os from what I've messed with on my bois 1000 I jus never asked about sample conversion...?

if jj puts something into an OS, it means it wasn't there to begin with, or was there but was coded like balls

Yeah...I don't think bit convert is in Akai OS. Tell you're buddy to get JJ O.S., he'll love it. You do the same.
