holy shit!!!! you too??? i always sleepwalk and i often wake up in the kitchen eating bread of fruit, thats one of the reasons i never keep junk food around because if i did i'd be a blimp

my lack of tilt has been driving me nuts the past week. i usually keep it in my lap, but been borrowing a prs guitar and with it in my lap and the mpc on a lil styrofoam cooler in front of me, but (with stomp box pedals between me and the mpc) its real tough to see without any angle.

im about to tape a hand mirror to a mic stand and learn to read backwards

Easier said than done of course, but -

All you need is a plastic housing (injection mold probably) that would snap into the existing cavity for the screen but also have enough room to fit the whole screen parts. The shape would be similar to the hood of a barbecue grill, you know those kind of angled square-ish shaped ones

It wouldn't tilt, but it also wouldn't look like shit

Ive been working on a tilt screen for a few days now! I wanted to be the first. Damn. Ive been painting mine for a few days now and but needed to make a case and polish my screen from sounding down the paint on the edges. If I finish the screen it will be ajustable. Nice to see it done.

I sold that 1k for $675 on ebay. I paid $415 off ebay too. I got to have my fun, and still make a come up.

The reason I sold it was because I seen that akai dropped the grid pads for the mpc500 and didnt do sh!t for the 1k, not because I messed it up or it didnt work. I own a 2kxl now and I have to say, I miss some of the features of the 1k, like the onboard FX, 64 programs and FAST load times.

I miss my old lab I cant make sh!t here
