i just put a sample, not too long (about 11 seconds), when i get into trim mode and i try to lay it down on the pads, it says i have insufficent memory. i got a 128mb CF card, so whats the deal

Turn off autoload. Your mpc is probably loading sounds when you start it.

also note that a 128mb CF card is not the same as 128mb installed ram.

oh, so i should go and grab some more RAM then?

The extra ram is not needed, as homeboy previously stated, just turn off auto load, ive nver needed extra ram and some of my samples are long as hell

for your style perhaps. some people stack more samples into memory tho and the extra ram is definitely needed.

but back on topic, try to turn off the autoload first and see how you do without the upgrade. if u still get that problem, then get more ram.

im watiing for my ppls to send me my stuff....but i ordered ram....40gb hd and headphones for $110 so i wanna see fi it works....cause if so ppl can save a shitload of money...
