midi keyboard and battery question

Yo fellos i got an mpc 1000 a oxygen m-audio and battery program i was wondering if i can use my mpc thru my midi keyboard as a midi interface to run my battery program?

I dont think you can use it as a MIDI interface, but you can use it as a controller. If you keyboard has MIDI IN than you can use your keyboard as a MIDI interface and go from the MIDI out of the MPC to the MIDI IN of the keyboard and trigger sounds in Battery with the MPC.
