Is it possible to edit sequences during playback?

This has been driving me crazy......It really messes with my groove and workflow having to stop the mpc to make simple velocity changes in step edit. Is there any way you can edit while your track is still playing?

nope, not other than overdubbing and rerecording over the note

that sucks.......its a very simple and much needed feature! oh well, back to bangin out drums on the keyboard.
