Possible jackpot concerning MPC-1000 pads!!!

I just received a phone call from Digital Village DV247 UK (where i purchased my faulty MPC-1000)
Confirming the photos from Ceo are in the hands of the managing director of Numark who now run Akai in the UK.
They are going to make an executive decision tomorrow regarding the pads.
Here's hoping this starts the ball rolling!
Perseverance and too much spare time pays off (hopefully)
I will know the outcome by Friday or Saturday.

so what do u want more, a whole brand new mpc 1000 or just a new set of pads for free?

I would like justice for all concerned.
Also for Akai to take some responsibility for the flaw in their product.
And a new working MPC-1000 with the new pads installed.

Shit that... I have the blue and red myself...
I dont see any light at the end of the tunnel...
And I also doubt I see myself paying $192 for new pads
(thats after shipping)
I emailed Akai... I feel a little better... :)
