how do you make sequences you made compatible with myspace

how do make the sequence files on the MPC1000 that you create a song with become compatible with myspace music? how do you change from a sequence file to an mp3 or something you can play in itunes.

hey wassup.. i'm new to the site, but what you're gonna need to do is have some kind of audio recording software on your computer... if you're on a PC maybe Sound Forge or CoolEdit, if on a mac maybe Peak or Audacity... anyways, what you need to do is run cables from the output of your MPC to the in/mic input of your soundcard and record your beat into whatever software you end up using. the file format should be a WAV file (on PC) or an AIFF file (on mac)... once you have your beat recorded and ready to go, you can just save it and then load it into itunes... then in itunes do a right click over the song and Convert to MP3... it will then be ready to upload to myspace.

can you do that in protools too?

i'm sure you can as well... but protools may be too sophisticated for someone that's just learning how to record audio to a computer... you don't need your beat on separate tracks if you're just trying to save it as an mp3... just sayin

There are a couple ways you can do this.
1. You can record your song or sequence through the main outs of your mpc. Once you do that, your mpc will save that as a sample which will be in wav. form. Then just drag it onto your mpc via usb and then you can later convert it to a mp3 with some kind of simple program.
2. If you would like to download Audacity i'm sure that will help too. It's very simple and free. Just google it and download it. Its pretty self explanitory.
If you have questions about resampling look in the manual it will all be there. Also remember to turn up the master volume when resampling the main outs because it will not sound as loud or full.
