resetting/clearing MPC 1000?

"resetting mpc 1000" in the search returns a totally blank browser window in Firefox.

I was just wondering if there is a way to return the MPC1000 to the "blank" state as if just powered on??

I understand I can just reach back and push the power off/on again, but it seems like it might be more efficient if there was a key command or something.

The above method is only for resetting the machine to the factory defaults.... - not what you're looking for i don't think.

The next time you start up your MPC, save the blank settings (ie the settings you get when you first power up the machine) as a new project (save entire memory and name it something like 'Clear'). - Now when you want to move between projects or beats you are working on, load this, it will clear the MPC's entire memory to leave you with a blank machine..

Saves turning it on and off all the time to get a blank canvass..

how do you get the factory song/samples off of the machiene? i know i read it in the manual but forgot...
