As cats on here already have stated, you'll need a laptop or a rack type unit of some kind, since the MPC is not set up for keyboard playback of its samples anyway. You can lay out programs that will play correctly using a keyboard but it is an extremely tedious process, and results are much less convincing or accurate than using, say, an S series sampler or a software rack sampler.
A piece of software or small rack or desktop unit that responds to Midi note numbers will do you good with that Oxygen. And if I'm not mistaken, it'll run off USB so you don't need to lug another adapter around with you.
