selling 2500 to get a 1000, crazy?

to be honest, i've always wanted a 2500 vs the 1000.

a 1k with new pads would be practically the same as a 2500. and if you want to play live shows, i would prolly take you more serious as an audience member if you had the 2500. thats just me.

so if you didn't have a 2500 already i'd suggest getting a 1k with new pads. but since you already have a 2500.. this just sounds silly to me. spend more time making quality music on an mpc than being anal about what you're using. you feel me?

no, but it's a pretty great idea. where does one get a prism?

i've also thought of using a device called an "elmo" coupled with a projector in a performance so people can see my hands and the screen. this would also be a good way to do a video, because instead of holding a camera above an mpc screen, you could video tape it from a comfortable spot in the room.

im starting a new post with links for prisms in hopes that someone will try this as i have not yet sold my 2500 and gotten a 1000
