freezing when creating folder

does anyone else experience freezing when creating a new folder to save entire memory. i'm running os 2.11...what to do? im loosing entire projects when i go to save

The first thing *not* to do is continue to use an Akai operating system.

There was a rumor on here that Akai fixed the serious saving issues with 2.10 with the introducion of 2.11, but I've never seen any proof of this which is why I never used an Akai OS after I got rid of 2.10.

Just remember -- if and when you decide to move up to the third-party OS, *reformat all of your drives* after the install of the new OS is complete, otherwise the Akai disease will still be in there, lurking, lurking.....

akai os just sucks. I was reluctant to change but after some readying I couldnt wait.
