Freezes when creating new folder???

WT??? ive had this baby for a couple of years and all these people **** on here non stop but my baby has been mostly faithful to me except some freezes...but whenever i create a new folder my 1k freezes...and then i turn it back on the folder is there but i cant save shit...ive lost 4 beats already and tried saving at the start opening an exiting project and creating a new folder


i havent been on this site for like a year...i put the os 2.11 i beleive a couple months ago worked fine, but i took like a 3 month break from music now all my shit freezes? any help or suggestions?

this is a bug in the AKAI OS... i think you'll find that if you install JJ OS 3.08 (the free version), it should take care of this for you and give you few extra things that the regular OS didn't have. it doesn't look like AKAI is in any rush to fix this bug in their OS [as they've known about it for a while now]... if you like the JJ OS, you may wanna consider paying for the full version with even more functions than AKAI will ever implement in their OS.

heard a lot of bout that shit...i dont really right now care bout nothing but just not having this bug...i do what i do with my mpc so...if i go back to the previous os will that fix it? thx

just go to the jj os. it will fix it and its free. features or not its a more stable os. which means you dont have to worry about glitches when doing basic functions.

i asked this question not too long ago becuas ei was running into the same problem. its a real pain, but i have switched to jj os and never looked back

ya that folder bug u were getting goes as far back to akai os 1.07 thats the version that came with my mpc1000 when i bought it..akai dont care this bug has been confirmed by them and after years later still no fix..they dont give a good continental shit about there os..ya jj is the man

aight aight i mean im not new ive had this shit since like 04 and been using it hella yea ive had lil quirks and freezes


but i took a month long break from music now i got all my artist like whats up with new beats and im struggling enough with motivation and personal issues that when i finally get my shit together enough to sit down and bagn some shit out it does this?

i dont know shit thats happened on this forum for a year haha maybe more so jea thx for filling me in...last time i was here i remember people were asking if jj was legit or would **** up there machine so thats why i was like uhhh scepitcal at first but let me check it out
