Do You Have to get Expansion Ram From Akai- If you dont.....

I just got an mpc last week and i wana upgrde ram... i he ram from my dell laptop that wana put in it..i also see ppl on ebay selling ram

my question is if it will avoid warranty if i put in new ram


also, i want to hook the mpc to my roland fantom keboard....i know i need to get midi cables but do I need any more in order to hook up the fantom as a slave

My third quesiton is if I need to by a mixer to make my sampling(from record player) sound clean

regarding your warranty... they'll never know what you don't tell them... and you can always remove the ram chip if you have to take your unit in. just get the cheaper sh!t on ebay... works just as well.

just the midi cables are fine and you dont need a mixer if you are going to be sampling from a single signal source

checkout if your table has a preamp. . if it doesnt, get a DJ mixer
