hey there,

Basically i was making a beat the other day, i saved it how i normally would, but this time it suddenly came up with the dialog box saying 'file already exists do you wish to replace, rename or cancel'. This was the first time that i have ever saved this beat.

so i replaced it but when i tried to load the program it came up with the message 'wrong file'

The mpc has suddenly started auto-loading the flash card as well which is pretty annoying, i dont know if i have done something wrong.

i read some previous posts, and as i understand the Akai OS system seems to have this bug. I am going to upgrade to the JJ Os now.... but i was just wondering whether this was the problem or had i done something wrong...

could someone explain what is going on please?

thank you

Ganesh

youll get 'file already exists do you wish to replace, rename or cancel' when you saving and something like program 1 was already used. Just change then name and you should be aight.

start using folders on your flash/hard drive when you save. keep track of each session by saving it under a new folder. that way they won't get all mixed up and you get the sticky loading issues that are usually more trouble than they need to be. you can pull up specific days work. word. i'm just trying to make that make as much sense as possible. it could prolly help you out.
