Hey everyone. I used to have an mpc2000, then i went to a 2000xl, and last week I got rid of that and moved to the 1000.

anyway, a couple things regarding midi....

first of all, when i load in an external midi file that i've written on my software, can i only do 1 per sequence?

the other question, i have it set to 4 bars, and i have the midi out from my mpc going into my synth (access virus c).... when i change the patch on the synth, it automatically changes back to the first patch on my synth on the 1 count everytime. so i can change the patch for a couple measures and start to play with it....and when i do, it always goes back to the first patch on beat 1

thanks!

Should be one per track, as long as the one midi file doesn't take up all the available memory.

Sounds like you've got a program change command at the beginning of the sequence. Maybe you recorded it there when changing patches from the synth. Check it in step edit mode.
