Tap Tempo / Note Repeat Button

Hey everyone

I'm used to the 2000 and 2000XL, and recently got a 1000

When I hold down the tap tempo/note repeat button now, it plays sounds automatically. i want it to only play the sound i'm holding the pad of, and play it in 16th notes or whatever i have it set to. but for some reason, just holding it down plays a sound or maybe a couple sounds. not sure


any ideas?

not sure what a "mute group" is, or what W/E means...

Mute groups are set so one sample stops another one from playing. Example: Your closed hi hat sound cuts out the open hat sound.

Read your manual.

maybe you don't tap at the right time. you have to be carefull with the timing. if you press it too long you'll hear it twice or even more often.




but anyway. is there the possibilty to repeat a sample without holding the tempo/note button? it is a bit annoying holding it all the time.
