are your mpc and virus synced with midi?

sounds like the virus is outputting at a different bitrate than the MPC.

The MPC operates at 16-bit, 44kHz. So -- if you're Virus is outputting at anything else, such as 48kHz (which is very likely) it will manifest as a change in speed when you sample that digital signal into the MPC.

See if you can change the Virus to output at 44kHz, as I'm 80% sure that's your problem.

I had the same problem when I set up my soundcard to output into the SPDIF on the MPC. Changing the output from 48 to 44 cleared it right up.

you're right.. virus digi output runs at 48 khz .. but unfortunatelly there is no internal option to change it :( will try to find any solution on access.de webside. thx anyway!
