having major difficulty assigning the pads to play in a chromatic scale from 1 to 16 when i connect it to my bass station.
when i change the notes in the midi edit page it makes no difference....
anybody any ideas? this has been bothering me for a long time....

change the midi note settings in PROGRAM mode (the tab reads MIDI or NOTE) these settings are saved in the program when you reload it. They overrule the general midi settings found in GLOBAL mode.
i think that for the MIDI not setting you make in gloabl mode to apply you have to set the program to OFF in the track. The best thing is to search the forum for stereoroid's posts with teh BLANK-CHROMATIC.PGM file mentioned, you should be able to download a simple program with the pads set in chromatic succession from MIDI note 35 to 99.
