HDM-10, HDD - Won't Recognize Mass Storage In PC?

Hey Folks,
Great forum you've got here. Really appreciate all the gems I find browsing.

Got a dilemma I hop someone can help with. I ordered an HDM-10 & HDD from MPCStuff (so compatibility isn't the issue) everything is visible in my 1K I can access the HDD etc.

But when I hook up via USB I can't access the HDD via windows. I've tried removing my CF card & it still doesn't recognize it. Do I have to format it prior to use or something? Can anyone help?

Did you format the HD? As with all memory in thisunit, it must be formatted in order to work with the OS you are using.

That may have been one of the issues, but I believe the ultimate factor was that I hadn't selected HARD DISK prior to accessing USB.

Anyways hopefully it'll help someone in the future
