I bought a used 1000 and I'm not sure which version it is running. Is there a way (keypad sequence, etc.) to see which version is installed on this thing? Thanks!

Thanks but, this machine has the 128mb upgrade and that's all it says when I turn it on. Not the Operating System Version I'm looking for. Any other methods?

hit mode and then pad10 - other.. works, at least with jj os

Does the Akai os not display this when you first power on? because mine shows the os on power up

Nah, it don't show on startup. But thanks Spank I got it from your post - mode + pad 10 did it. Thanks to all!
