Midi does not pass audio. You will be able to have the mpc act as a controller from your keyboard and visa versa. All that does is the mpc tells the keyboard to play the corresponding sounds. If you want to record the keyboard sounds into the mpc, you will need to sample them as you would any other audio. If you have a DAW or a multitrack recorder, you will be able to record the song you are making from the mpc w/ the keyboard. hope this helps.

In that video, I believe he is only using the MPC as the master sequencer and playing the sounds from the keyboard, on the keyboard, and the drums from the mpc, on the mpc. He syncs them together so both units will play at the same time with the same tempo. Does your keyboard have an audio interface built in? If not, do you have an audio interface?

What you can do is record a sequence from the keyboard on your mpc (midi sequence, not actual sound) and save it on a track. create as many different tracks as you like (make sure your midi channels correspond with the different sounds from keyboard) and get the sound coming out of your mixer. get some 1/4 inch cables and plug the output of the mixer into the record in of the mpc. on the main screen solo track 1. set the number of bars 1 number higher than actual number of bars so when your record it does not loop. record your sequence from track 1, name, assign to pad on a new program, and save. Then Do the same with the next track, etc etc. If you have not upgraded your memory, try to stick with 2-16 bar loops, considering you will not be able to record your whole song in one go. If you have 6 tracks and run out of memory after track 2. make sure your new samples and programs and midi sequence is saved, and restart your mpc. then load all previous data and start recding from where you left off. then play your new samples and make some fresh tracks.
