Everytime i have a chopped up sample in "pgm:sample1" I cant lay down the drums for "pgm:program1"(my sample is in the a bank and i put my drums in the b bank) this is pissing me off everytime i try to lay down drums the track that the sample is on pauses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :x When i record the chopped up sample on "pgm:sample1" and switch over from "sample1" to "program1" to lay down drums track1 stays the same on both but doesnt play on pgm:program1

maybe you should put drums in anorhter progam an no in bank b, what sometimes happend its that your sample its monophonic so when you press the drum pads the sample mutes, so you need to put your sample on polyphonic

Yea your master note polyphony for the entire program is "mono". Set the entire program polyphony to "Poly" but mono the individual samples or/and do "mute groups" for the drums. Let me know if this helps? NYM prolly already got you straight though.

how do i put it in polyphonic?

It wasnt a very big problem I had it set in poly and everything it was just that I tried to switch to program1 and sample1 in "pgm" while trying to stay on the same track thats why when i tried to lay down the drums the sample always paused.
