Mpc expenses

Im looking to buy a table and a mixer and while looking on craigslist i found somebody selling a ub2442fx-pro Behringer mixer, stanton T.50 with numark cartridge, and an MP 1k which he says works perfectly except for the fact that the shift button and the left bar direction button (you know, the one to the right of the shift) are missing.all for 6 hundy. Hes saying this is gonna cost like 90 to replace. I have an Mp already it would go to my friend so A) how are the mixer and table for what i want (straight sampling vinyl and possibly some live instruments) and B) how serious is the problem if theoretically there are no others ones with the MP? worth the cash?

PS part of me doesnt trust him cus this guy said something about the buttons like "but it didnt matter to me cus i didnt really use those buttons"

if its just the actual buttons missing those are only going to cost like 6bucks plus shipping from mpc stuff.

You should be able to replace the buttons on your own for a lot cheaper than sending it out. I would not buy it based soley on the fact that most Behringer gear sucks. I have a Behringer mixer, and I would not use it for sampling. The only thing I use it for is playing multiple samplers/drum machines/synths at the same time. I would not track anything out through it, or do any type of sampling/recording with the Behringer in the signal flow path...

check ebay for how much the ub2442fx-pro is going for
the stanton will be a fine sampling tt, but check ebay also

find the avg prices those 2 items go for on ebay, subtract against 600
buttons are cheap
