So.. this is problem is on my 1000, 128mb internal. I've been having BIG problems with this issue on sequences where I have lots of tracks running. Say I have the normal drum tracks, bass track, shaker, crash, original record samples (if any) and lead instrument(s). Although I often use only 1 program for all these instruments (I know it's crazy) it still is affected when I create new programs for individual inst.
The problem:
Say once I've created all my tracks and I'm arranging a sequence, the hat, snare, or other track(s) will be muting parts of a track where I have a long-playing instrument. This is most often caused by a track that's 'steady' like a hat or shaker. I'm well familiar with mute groups, and this is completely un-related..makes me feel like the machine isn't powerful enough to do these tasks, even though they're pretty basic and the ram is maxed @ 128... ?? Granted the long-playing instruments are being recorded as audio and not midi, but it shouldn't clash with other samples the way that it is. Also, this only happens sometimes..I've made plenty of beats that this doesn't happen with, and when it does I get so f*cking vexed..!!
I need some troubleshooting ideas on this one...
