Memory Issues

Im having memory issues, and everytime i go to chop a sample, it says insufficient memory? I dont even have anything saved to the MPC, and barely anything on the card except one sample?!!! Is there a way to delete the internal drive so i have more space?

My Internal says I have 9.3MB Wave Free
and 1656KB seq free?!!

you need to upgrade your RAM...

the space you have in the MPC or card has nothing to do with it

the 1000 only comes with 16mb of RAM...you need to get a 256MB RAM card for it

Yes it says 256Mb RAM but your MPC will only read the 128Mb RAM...


i suggest ebay...i got mine for 17...25 wit shipping...

alot of those power sellers that actually have stores have multiples and they sell them for cheaper

there is a sticky for compatible ram just fyi to futher help you find various options on which is cheaper, i dont know off hand but def hit ebay or better craigslist.
