Another memory question

I have the standard 16MB memory right now, if I purchase 128MB of ram, do I have to remove the 16 or can I keep them both in? I know that's a dumb question but I'm a rookie and I haven't came accross it in the book. Thanks all.

as far as i know its not possile to take out the 16 mb already installed, you just install the 128 easily by unscrewing the panel on the back and snapping it in

from what i've read though the extra 128 won't be added to 16. the 16 will just be there and not used.
