mpc1k's pgm trouble... need help pls... pls..

hello everyone...
i have had mpc1k for about month n a half..
i was not really using any Pre-PGMed akai sound sets, until some1 posted some nice S- sound set below

so i just download them n copy them into my mpc1k CF folder..
after everything's done, i load the PGM to my mpc1k and it only load the samples.. and it didn not assign any samples to any pads.. if i go progam n assign them onboard then it's fine all the samples are on the ram but.. why isn't this assign samples to pads..? any1 facing this type of problems..?
i m trying to sell my other sequencer and use mpc as main sequencer, ASA i know how to deal with this...
help...

It's not going to auto-assign the samples to pads for you... where would it put them?
On a full sampler there can be a "right place" for tuned melodic samples, e.g. you want sample C3 on note C3. But this is a specialist drum sampler, and
everyone has their own preferences for layout (bass drum on A02, etc.)
