Not sure, but I've just started a month ago with the MPC and experienced something that looks like the case you're describing...

When you chop up a beat over, say, 16 pads, be sure that there are no other sounds on those pads. The MPC can only play one at a time (unless you layer sounds but that is not always wanted).

Also... if you change note numbers and two pads have the same number, notes will be dropped when the pads are playing at the same time.

The mpc can play up to 32 sounds at the same time, i guess its an issue with the programs settings.
Make sure the program is set to poly.
Make sure the pads are not assigned to the same mute group (or any pad mutes are set up)

I always use a number of different programs, one for the drums (set to poly), another one for the first chopped sample (set to mono) and so on.

Edit: Whats your language? I´m sure you can download the manual in your language from akai too.

No spanish manual? Thats pretty miserable, been to the spanish akai site?

But if you use differents programs, you cant mix sounds from one to another one??

I dont know what you´re trying to do here, but if you want to layer your sounds you can do that in one program, 4 layers per pad. Even better: Switch to the JJ OS (1, that would be 4.99), easier to operate, much more powerful and the Akai OS still has that nasty "new folder bug"...
