can i slave an mpd24 to my mpc1000?

i do not know anything about midi, but i hate my 1000 pads and have a borrowed mpd who's pads feel much nicer.

so, how can i slave the mpd so it plays the samples from my 1000?

My advice: get the pad replacement.


You can also use the mpd, but the knobs cant be assigned to anything.

yah, i plan on upgrading, but until then...any info on how to slave that shit?
i have no owners manual and have never messed with any midi funtcions.

Thats got nothing to do with slave and master, its just mpd midi out to mpc midi in. You might have to rearrange the note numbers in the mpd or the mpc, i think the mpd´s pads are in chromatic order. SHouldnt be a problem.
