Anybody.know if you can..describe.Pluggin in a Guitar.to MPC

HEy. I knew to the MPC1000blue. I didnt come with a memory card to putin the slot.when i bought it. Im wondering if you can plug a guitar to the mpc. and make samples to save into the MPC memory.will this work???...

question 2- I want to chop samples. I dont have a turntabe or MIXER...
I want to extract song parts from my ipod dirrectly yo MPC1000... using the...MODE button,than Record pad.the screen shows up analog or digital? monitor.on or off???

Is there any possibiliy that theres a cable connection i can use to get want i want. ipod directly to MPC1000

question 3-
MY MPC1000 has 29 pre-used sequences it came with... How to i delete them for good.
they appear every time i turn it On. and theres only like 12 selections of programs of DRums ,Bass, other stingBASS.pads... I want Better Sounds....How do i get more...Ive seen that they sell, hiphop samples for like49.95....do i need to buy stuff like that to have a better selction. of programs???

I vary knew to the MPC1000[size=150][/size]

1. Get a cf card, the internal memory will soon be too small to save your projects.

2. The internal memory cant be cleared, just overwritten with new data.

3. Ipod audio out-> mpc record in

4. Dont plug your guitar directly into the record in will sound real bad. Get a DI box in between.

5. Read the manual!!!!
