hi everybody,

sorry for my noob question...

i've checked out a mpc by a friend and i thinks its great

there is one thing only what he couldnt tell me...

i do want to use both midi ports together on different tracks but record them both

so midi a chn1 midi b chn 1 record them both at the same time

if this is not possible does it work on a 2500?

thanks a lot !!

Thanks a lot

Recording on 2 tracks at the same time? Not possible, neither with the 2500.

record on track 1 assigned to midi 1A and then copy it to track 2 and assign it to midi 1B

you can record multiple tracks of MIDI from either A or B, but you can't record them simultaneously.

You can play them back simultaneously, but you can't record simultaneously.
