what can i do if the onboard memory on mpc is **** up?
(i mean where the o.s is installed and etc)

How do you now its the"onboard memory"?

As far as i know theres 2 of them...

because it is in bootlock and when i turn it on it says

mpc1000 bootblock ver:1.03
boot on emrgency mode
A compact flash card was detected
detected fat 16 volume
os file searching...
A correct os file wasn't found
system halt...

Try booting up while holding erase, factory reset.

nah with the boot block, the mpc automatically finds the cf card, and searches for a valid .bin file.

@ Self Made: put the latest OS on the CF card in the root folder, and then insert it into the MPC and switch on.

i tried every os i could find on the web
nothing works
it says the same thing

have you tried erasing everything on the CF card and just putting an OS file on there? also: make sure the file is a '.bin' type, ie extract the .bin file from the zip that it downloads in.

dude i'm not stupid
i tried that allready
and i also sent it to a repair lab or something they tried to order parts or something
akai never replied

no customer service is given from them
i don't want to send it to v.s.t cause it'll cost alot of money
and i can't efford it
