MPC 1000 OS reflash..

i talked to a guy at akai today and he told me to get rid of the "BootBlock ver 1.03", id have to reflash my os??? has anyone ever done this? and if so, how might one go about doing such a thing??

dunno, but this has happened to a couple other people

and if you end up trying to sell your mpc cuz you can't reflash the os yourself, please let me know and i will buy it

he said it would cost 65$ plus shipping

yea i called the place in NJ and they said theyd fix it for $65+s/h also.. but oh well, small price to pay for such a wonderful piece of equipment!

TSI is the name of the place... a tech from akai told me they do repairs and stuff on mpc1000's since mine wasnt under warranty.
