word, standing is the sh!t, i got an old shop counter with shelves and stuff underneath thats so damn solid, perfect hieght too. Came with bamboo sticks all wrapped around the front and sides, mad tropical feel to the studio.
But about the tilt screen stuff, i do think it would be a worthwhile project, because i have found after not long in the studio i do experience some neck problems if my mpc isn't on an angle. I've made an angled stand out of a big foam block that i cut to shape, and that works really well, but a modified faceplate with a tilt screen would be ideal as the pads and other controls could still remain flat, while the screen is on an angle. Is it the 3000 that can be hooked up to an external screen altogether? Probably a bit far-fetched, but if something like that was available to hook the 1000 up to while it's in the home studio, that would be ideal, as the screen could be large and placed wherever, even mounted on the wall or something. I wish, I wish, I wish....
