MPC X1000 POWER SUPPLY SHUTS OFF

My notebook begins to boot up and gets to the start windows screen, then the notebook shuts off. The power supply also shuts off and I have to unplug it to get it to work again. I have never seen this! Acts like something is shorting out to kill the power supply. The power supply is a universal one that apparently has a circut breaker inside. I appreciate any help on this bizzar problem.

Is this question geared towards the Akai MPC 1000... I am confused about what exactly we are helping with.....

Try plugging your notebook into something else and see if it works... Or expalian what you are asking better.

try using one that didn't come from the dollar store and you might get better results

I have no idea if that's what you even mean though, your question is hard to understand

its not the correct powersuply for your notebook or your battery is goosed and shorting out.

check the (+) - or (-)+ is correct and that the voltage the same as it says on your notebook


or better still, sell your notebook and with the money go out and buy an MPC1000
(just be prepared to sacrifice your relationship, friends and social life lol)
