Program problems

I have a program problem i have two programs a program of bass samples and a program of drum samples, after I made the drum program when I turned my mpc1000 back on all the samples from the bass program were replaced by the drum samples, and every time I fix the programs back to the way i want them and save them, when I turn the mpc back on they return to this state where the two programs are identical. If anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate any tips or things I could try to fix this
