scrolling through samples etc quickly

hi hi. i have lots of samples in several folders on my 1k hard disc and am bored of spinning the wheel to get through the them. on sound modules i've worked with before there's usually a way to scroll through quickly?

hold the SHIFT button while scrolling with the data wheel.
this info is in your manual.

doesnt that just adjust the contrast of the screen???

it's been a while since i used the akai os. so my advice would apply to the jj os.
