Who needs the pad upgrade/replacement set for MPC 1000?

I don't think I'm going to bother with any other MPC's or Akai products afterwards.

that's what i've been recommending. despite their recent OS attempts they are still a long way from winning me over

a former customer of mine had a very interesting story to tell about a correspondence he had with justin baro, which ended abruptly when he started asking questions regarding the ratio between 2000s that needed pad repair and 1000s that needed pad repair.

the bullshit with akai is that they made the product with faulty pads

now they came out with a pad fix and they're chargin us

that in itself is bullshit

but whatever

now even tho i want to buy it, they got it on backorder everywhere!
