I just got an ensoniq dp/4 and I wanted to hook it up to my mpc 1000 so that I could use the filters from the dp/4 on different samples in my mpc. Right now i have it hooked up the in's from the dp/4 to the mixouts 3 and 4 on the mpc and the outs on the dp/4 to the record ins on the mp. I think I have to use input through on my 1000 but havent been able to get a response from the dp/4 while doing this. Is it something I need to do on the mpc or the way I have it hooked up? any help is appreciated.
