filter on full track with Q-link?

Hey all -
I checked through the manual and searched on the board, but I can't find a clear answer to this question:

Is it possible to use the Q-Link sliders to effect (ie: filter) an entire track, while using the track-mute screen? So, effect all pads used in that track - but with the slider controlling the parameters on the track itself?

Or do I have to set up the parameters for the Q-Link on the individual pads used in that track, and manipulate when the track in question is playing?

nobody? do i assume this means filtering can only be applied to individual pads and not to a full track?

i'm unsure if you can do it directly, but if not you can always bounce the track you want to modulate and assign to a single pad.

In the 'TARGET' column, select the pads to which the
effect should be applied. You can select
the whole'TRACK' or to a single Pad (A1-D16). The 'VALUE'
columndisplays the actual value entered
with the slider.
